These knitted afghani-style breeches reinterpret the iconic sportswear silhouettes widely worn across the Soviet and post-Soviet space during the 1990s. Tracksuits became a defining uniform of the era — embraced by youth, street culture, and everyday everyday style.

The relaxed afghani cut introduces generous volume and freedom of movement, while ribbed cuffs structure the silhouette at the hem. The folded waistband yoke references the casual styling of vintage sportswear, where comfort and practicality defined the look.

Through the lens of the Avantgardian Child collection, this familiar athletic form is transformed into a sculptural garment that carries both nostalgia and attitude.
